Description:
Potassium (3-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)prop-1-en-2-yl)trifluoroborate is a potent and selective inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.4, which is expressed in neurons, cancer tissues, and other cells. It has been shown to inhibit neuronal death by blocking voltage-gated potassium channels. The drug also inhibits cellular transformation and induces apoptosis in cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to control the protein synthesis machinery.
