Product Information

Name:
3H-Imidazo[4,5-c]quinolin-4-amine
Description:

3H-Imidazo[4,5-c]quinolin-4-amine is a drug that binds to the adenosine A3 receptor and inhibits tumor growth. It was found to be a potent functional agonist of the adenosine A3 receptor in functional assays. 3H-Imidazo[4,5-c]quinolin-4-amine is also a potent allosteric modulator of this receptor and enhances the effects of other drugs that bind to the adenosine A3 receptor. 3H-Imidazo[4,5-c]quinolin-4-amine has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo and in vitro by altering cell function and expression through the modulation of endogenous signaling pathways. This drug also increases the potency of sodium nitrate as an antiangiogenic agent by enhancing its ability to inhibit angiogenesis.
