Product Information
Benzyl ferulate is a phenolic acid that can be found in plant extracts. It is a component of Pinostrobin chalcone, which has shown anticancer effects against colorectal adenocarcinoma and squamous cell cancer cells. Benzyl ferulate also inhibits the proliferation of skin cancer cells and epithelial cancers. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) production in colon cancer cells and to reduce the viability of prostate cancer cells. Benzyl ferulate may have potential as a cosmeceutical or food additive for its antioxidant properties.
