Description:
Taxuspine B is a diterpene from the bark of Taxus cuspidata. It has been shown to inhibit microtubule polymerization, which leads to cell death by disrupting the transport of cellular products. The functional groups in taxuspine B are similar to those found in paclitaxel, a drug used for chemotherapy. Taxuspine B is also a natural product and has been shown to be effective against tumor cells.
