Clenisopenterol is a beta-adrenergic receptor agonist that stimulates the heart and bronchial muscles to increase breathing. This drug is typically used in conjunction with other pulmonary drugs to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Clenisopenterol is available for on-line analysis using acidic mobile phases, such as acetonitrile, and a diode array detector (DAD). The interferences of this drug are monitored by reaction monitoring, which includes multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and electrospray ionization (ESI).
