Product Information

Name:
1-Butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium Bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide
Description:

1-Butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium Bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide is a non-aqueous electrolyte that can be used as an organic solvent. It has a density of 1.03 g/mL and a viscosity of 0.84 cP at 20°C, making it suitable for use in solutes with low volatility, such as coulombic solutes and volumetric solutes. The dielectric constant is 3.2 at 100 Hz and the dielectric strength is 2 Mv/cm at 30°C, making it suitable for voltammetry experiments. This electrolyte also has a high boiling point of 207°C and a vapor pressure of 5 x 10 -3 Pa at 20°C, making it suitable for phase equilibrium studies.
