Product Information
2-(Diisopropylsilyl)pyridine is a synthetic chemical that can be used to synthesize iodides. The mechanistic and synthetic pathways of this compound are not well understood. It is used in cross-coupling reactions and has been shown to be a nucleophilic agent. This chemical has been used as a cross-coupling reaction partner with organometallic reagents, such as organolithium, Grignard, or organozinc reagents. In addition, this chemical has been shown to possess high values of functionalities and functional groups. Cross-coupling reactions have also been shown to produce functionalizations on the carbon backbone with high kinetic rates. 2-(Diisopropylsilyl)pyridine was found to have an isotope effect on the rate constant for the substitution of chloroform by methanol in an organic solvent.
