Description:
1-(4-Nitro-benzyl)-piperazine (NBP) is a cytotoxic agent that has been shown to have anti-cancer activities. It inhibits tumor growth in human cancer cell lines, including MDA-MB-231 cells. NBP has significant inhibitory effects on the proliferation of cancer cells and is cytotoxic to cancer cells. This drug also inhibits the production of proteins that are involved in tumor cell proliferation and survival, such as cyclin D1 and Bcl-2.
