Description:
NDMC101 is a new chemical entity that has been shown to have anticancer activity. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to the receptor for platelet-derived growth factor-β1 (PDGF-β1) and inhibiting its activation. NDMC101 also binds to phosphatase, which is an enzyme that dephosphorylates a molecule. This prevents the activation of growth factors and reduces their effects on cancer cells. The compound also has immunomodulatory effects, including inhibition of osteoclast formation, which are cells involved in bone resorption.
