Product Information
9-(2-Bromoethyl)-9H-fluorene is a monomer that is used in the production of polyfluoroalkylenes. It has high activity and can be obtained from ethane, alkyl substituents, and mechanistic studies. 9-(2-Bromoethyl)-9H-fluorene has been shown to be a good monomer for the synthesis of dienes with ethylene or zirconium dichloride as an electron donor. The polymerization yield can be increased by using metallocene as a catalyst. 9-(2-Bromoethyl)-9H-fluorene is an analog of fluorenyl, which contains fluorine substituents instead of bromine substituents. This monomer also exhibits stereoselective properties during polymerization reactions.
