Description:

GF109203X is a chemical inhibitor that binds to protein kinases and inhibits their activity. It is used for the treatment of cancer, inflammation, and other conditions. GF109203X has been shown to inhibit the activity of p-glycoprotein (P-gp) in cells, which is an important transporter in the blood-brain barrier. This inhibition helps to increase the effectiveness of chemotherapeutic drugs. GF109203X also blocks cell proliferation by inhibiting DNA synthesis in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. The drug has been shown to be effective against human leukemia HL60 cells and may be a potential diagnostic agent for detecting cytosolic Ca2+.
