Description:
2,2²-Bis[(4S)-4-benzyl-2-oxazoline] is an inorganic compound that belongs to the class of coplanar supramolecular polymers. It has been shown to form coordination complexes with diperchlorate ions and can be used for x-ray crystallography research. This compound was found to have five-membered rings with a chiral ligand that binds to anions. 2,2²-Bis[(4S)-4-benzyl-2-oxazoline] has also been shown to form isomorphous crystals with a related compound (2,2²-(1'-methylpropyl)bis[(4S)-4benzyloxazoline]) in the same family.
