2-Aminobenzamide oxime is a monoclonal antibody that has been conjugated to an acceptor. This antibody is currently in clinical development for the treatment of cancer. The 2-aminobenzamide moiety of this drug is a reactive group that can be used to introduce a linker to the antibody. The linker can then be used to covalently bind a targeting agent, such as a cytotoxic agent or drug, to the 2-aminobenzamide moiety. This drug has been shown to have fluorescence properties and is being studied for its use as a radiolabeling agent for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and as a tumor-targeting agent in cancer therapy.
