Product Information
Nuezhenidic acid is a herbal medicine extracted from the fruit of Psoralea corylifolia and the root of Astragalus membranaceus. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in rats with chronic arthritis, by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-1β. Nuezhenidic acid also has an effect on joint inflammation and analgesia, which may be due to its ability to bind to opioid receptors in the brain. This extract also has a hypoglycemic effect that may be due to its ability to bind with insulin receptors in the pancreas.
