Product Information

Name:
Novokinin
Description:

Novokinin is a peptide that may be used for the treatment of diabetic patients. It has been shown to have pharmacological properties in the form of an angiotensin system inhibitor, which can be used to treat congestive heart failure and hypertension. Novokinin also has inhibitory properties against polymeric enzymes, such as protein synthesis and DNA replication. Novokinin has been shown to have antihypertensive activity and antinociceptive properties in animal models. The biological properties of Novokinin are related to its interaction with angiotensin II receptors, which mediate vasoconstriction, cardiac contractility, and blood pressure regulation. It is also known to regulate tissue growth by inhibiting the transcriptional activity of RNA polymerase II.
