Z-Triprolidine hydrochloride is a hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose (HPMC) derivative that acts as an adrenergic receptor agonist. Z-Triprolidine hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, neurodermatitis, and chronic urticaria. This drug also interacts with other drugs, such as antihistamines and antidepressants, which may lead to increased sedation or drowsiness.
