Description:
1,3,6,8-Tetra-tert-butylcarbazole is a reactive compound that has been shown to react with chloride ions. It has been synthesized in the presence of aluminium chloride and tetrahydrofuran. The reaction product was characterized by x-ray diffraction studies. 1,3,6,8-Tetra-tert-butylcarbazole has also been found to be magnetic and ascorbate reactive and can be used as a catalysis ligand. This molecule can also be used for the synthesis of amides or ligands.
