Description:
Lindleyin is a Chinese herb used to treat inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases. This drug has been shown to inhibit the activity of many enzymes, including glycyrrhizin uralensis, protocatechuic acid, and tannins. It also has neuroprotective effects by inhibiting the expression of proinflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and nitric oxide synthase in the brain. Lindleyin exhibits anti-obesity effects by decreasing body mass index (BMI) and growth factors in mice with high-fat diet induced obesity.
