Product Information

Name:
1-Methyl-2-undecylquinolin-4(1H)-one
Description:

1-Methyl-2-undecylquinolin-4(1H)-one is a phosphatase inhibitor that is used in the treatment of cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of cellular phosphatases, which are enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphate bonds in organic molecules. This inhibition leads to increased levels of intracellular calcium and an accumulation of extracellular calcium, which can lead to cell death. 1-Methyl-2-undecylquinolin-4(1H)-one can also be used for the treatment of calcific stenosis, as it inhibits the production of proteins vital for cell division. It has been shown to be effective against hplc analysis and ultrasonic extraction, with calcific methanolic extracts shown to have a high level of efficacy.
