Product Information
Benzyl 2,3,4-tri-o-benzyl-α-D-glucopyranoside is a trisaccharide that is formed by the reduction of benzyl 2,3,4-tri-o-benzyl α-D-glucopyranoside with sodium borohydride. It has been shown to have antiplatelet activity and inhibit aggregation of red blood cells in vitro. Benzyl 2,3,4-tri-o-benzyl α-D-glucopyranoside has also been shown to be synthesized by the enzymatic reduction of 3′-(2′,3′,4′)-O-(6′phosphate) benzyl α -D -glucopyranoside with sodium borohydride.
