Product Information
3-Amino-4-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzoic acid is a compound that belongs to the group of polymers. It is a cinnamic acid derivative that has been synthesized by the reaction of 3-amino-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and cinnamic anhydride in presence of sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide and a solvent such as dioxane. 3-Amino-4-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzoic acid has been shown to be a monomer for polymers with photoluminescence properties when excitons are created by transferring energy from one molecule to another. The emission spectrum of 3-amino-4, 5 -dimethoxybenzoic acid can be obtained using FTIR spectroscopy.
