Product Information
Ethyl 4-isocyanobutanoate is a short-chain fatty acid that is enzymatically synthesized from butyric acid, which is found in coconut oil. This product can be used as a substrate for lipases and cyanocetes. It is selective for lipases over esterases, which means it will not hydrolyze ester bonds. This product also has a high selectivity for lipase substrates over other enzymes such as phospholipases A2 and D.
