Product Information
Telratolimod is a toll-like receptor modulator that works by triggering the immune system to fight viral infections. Telratolimod has been shown to be effective against hepatitis C virus and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Telratolimod also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the release of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β), as well as its ability to reduce the production of inflammatory cytokines. Telratolimod also has antiviral activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit replication of viruses such as HIV and Ebola. Telratolimod has been shown in animal studies to have antitumor activity, by inducing cell lysis and reducing the size of tumors in mice.
