Product Information

Name:
N-[4-(3-Aminophenyl)-2-thiazolyl]acetamide
Description:

N-[4-(3-Aminophenyl)-2-thiazolyl]acetamide is a novel cancer drug that has been shown to inhibit tumor development and induce cell death in a range of cancers, including pancreatic, prostate, leukemia (CML), and breast. This compound is also active in resistant cancer cells. N-[4-(3-Aminophenyl)-2-thiazolyl]acetamide binds to the ATP binding site on the ATP synthase enzyme, thereby inhibiting the production of ATP. The resulting lack of energy leads to autophagy and apoptosis. This drug has also been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties that allow it to be administered orally, which makes it an innovative treatment option for cancer patients.
