Description:

LDN-192960 is a serine/threonine-protein kinase inhibitor that targets the catalytic domain of the enzyme. LDN-192960 inhibits cancer cell growth by inhibiting mitotic activity and histone phosphorylation. LDN-192960 also has been shown to inhibit the catalytic activity of serine/threonine-protein kinases, which are involved in many cellular processes including regulation of transcription, translation, apoptosis, and tumorigenesis. LDN-192960 binds to specific residues on the protein's surface and prevents phosphorylation of these residues, leading to inhibition of its catalytic activity.
