Product Information
4-Amino-3-nitrobenzoic acid methyl ester is a benzimidazole derivative that has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. It binds to the cycle protein and inhibits the formation of the active form of the cyclin-dependent kinase, which is required for DNA synthesis and cell division. 4-Amino-3-nitrobenzoic acid methyl ester also binds to DNA and induces G2/M cell cycle arrest by inhibiting protein synthesis. This drug is cytotoxic to cancer cells, but not normal cells. It has antitumor properties and can be used as an efficient chemotherapeutic agent in cancer treatment.
