The two rings are in an eclipsed conformation. 3-(Bromomethyl)-6-chloropyridazine can be synthesized from 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) and 3,5-dibromopyridine. It is used as a building block for other chemical compounds.
