Product Information
3-Amino-5-bromo-benzofuran-2-carboxylic acid amide is a chloride that is synthesized from benzofuran derivatives. It has been shown to be an experimental model for the study of primary amines and biological studies are worthwhile. 3-Amino-5-bromo-benzofuran-2-carboxylic acid amide also exhibits anti-fungal properties, which may be due to its ability to coordinate with metal ions such as copper and zinc, thereby inhibiting enzymes such as catalase. This compound can also inhibit bacterial growth by binding to the enzyme amp, which is activated by amp. 3ABBAA inhibits the production of inflammatory substances in mice with colitis and salicylaldehyde, which is produced by some bacteria, inhibits bacterial growth.
