6-Bromoimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine is an alkali and a solvent. It is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and organic compounds. 6-Bromoimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine is extracted from a mixture of acetate and sulfate with ethyl acetate. The reaction yield for this extraction is high as it has a high boiling point. The product is recrystallized and implemented to isolate the desired compound. This synthesis method requires anhydrous sodium sulfate which can be obtained through evaporation or by using anhydrous sodium.
