Product Information
ERK5-IN-1 is a chemical compound belonging to the group of epidermal growth factor family. It is an agonist for the epidermal growth factor receptor, which has been shown to be overexpressed in cancer stem cells and in pediatric adrenocortical carcinoma. ERK5-IN-1 also binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor with high affinity and inhibits the expression of other receptors, such as epidermal growth factor receptor, oncoprotein c-Met, and ATP binding cassette transporter A2. ERK5-IN-1 can be used in cancer therapy as a potential drug target because it can inhibit tumor proliferation by blocking kinase signaling pathways.
