- Diethyldiphenylstannane
Diphenyldiethyltin is a compound with an olefinic double bond that reacts with bromoethane to form the polymerized product. The reaction products are obtained by reacting diphenyldiethyltin with a variety of olefins, including ethylene and propylene. Diphenyldiethyltin has been shown to have structural formulas as well as x-ray diffraction studies that show its possible reactivity. It also has been used in the synthesis of polymers, including polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene. It can be used for activating dehydrogenation reactions as well.
