Description:
Ethyl 1-methyl-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylate (EMPC) is a novel carbonyl group that is synthesized by humans and has the potential to prevent cholesterol synthesis. EMPC inhibits the enzyme hydroxymethylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase (HMGR) and inhibits its activity, which is responsible for the production of cholesterol in cells. EMPC also has an inhibitory effect on the synthesis of cholesterol in cells. The average particle diameter of EMPC is about 300 nm.
