It is used for the treatment of various diseases, such as male infertility, by inhibiting the production of sperm cells. 2,3-Dichloroisobutyric Acid inhibits the polymerization of DNA and RNA in the cytoplasm and tissues. This compound also has a constant concentration throughout the body and does not accumulate in any organs or tissues. The optimum concentration for 2,3-Dichloroisobutyric Acid is 10 mM, which can be achieved through a chloride salt solution at pH 7.4.
