Description:
2,5-Furandione, dihydro-3,3,4,4-tetramethyl-, is a molecule with a ring structure. It has been shown to inhibit the expression of mirna in human cells. This molecule also inhibits the hydrolysis of glycosylated proteins and the synthesis of DNA and RNA. 2,5-Furandione can be used as an active targeting agent for cancer therapy because it binds to purine and alkynyl groups. The enantiomer form is more soluble in water than the racemic form.
