Adynerin is a cytotoxic substance that inhibits the growth of tumours. The active ingredient in Adynerin is a cardiac glycoside, which is extracted from the plant Adonis vernalis. It has been shown to be effective against cancer cells in cell culture and animal studies. Adynerin can also inhibit the replication of viruses such as HIV and herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1). The preparation of this product may contain an organic solvent, which can cause irritation or sensitization if used improperly. Adynerin should not be used in people with heart conditions or those who have blood pressure problems.
