Product Information
Vitexin is a flavonol glycoside that is found in plants and has been used as a test compound in vivo. Vitexin 7-glucoside (V7G) is the most studied form of vitexin. It has been shown to have an oral bioavailability of approximately 50% and to be stable in vivo. V7G has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro, with IC50 values 5 μM, and it has also been shown to inhibit cell proliferation in Caco-2 cells. V7G also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting cellular proliferation, migration, invasion, and angiogenesis.
