Description:

3-Chloropropionaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal is a monomer that is used as a stabilizer in hydrocarbons. It has been shown to be an effective catalyst for the stepwise synthesis of hydrocarbons, and can be used to convert methanol into acetone. 3-Chloropropionaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal also reacts with trimethylamine to produce bio-oil, which can be used as a fuel or starting material for other chemical products. 3-Chloropropionaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal is also an acetal that can be synthesized by reacting acetone with trimethylamine. This reaction yields a product with the same molecular weight and stability as propionaldehyde dimethyl acetal, but the addition of chlorine prevents it from becoming too acidic.
