Product Information
The compound 1-((9H-fluoren-9-yl)methyl)piperidine+ is a covalent inhibitor of topoisomerase I. It is used in research on nucleic acids, solid phase synthesis and synthetic chemistry. The compound has been used to quantitatively study the activity of topoisomerase I. This study also investigated its conjugates with other molecules such as biphenyl and verruculogen. Monitoring reactions by UV detector was possible due to the presence of the fluorescein molecule at the end of the piperidine chain.
