- Undec-3-Yne
3-Undecyne is a natural product that has been shown to interact with geranyl, resulting in significant effects on the enhancement of the flow rate. The computational method used to study this interaction was a numerical simulation using the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. 3-Undecyne has two isomers, citratus and abdominal, which were analysed using chromatographic methods and found to have different radical scavenging activity. Citratus isomers have higher radical scavenging activity than those of the abdominal isomer. 3-Undecyne has been shown to be a fatty acid, which can be synthesized through chemical synthesis or extracted from animal sources such as chicken eggs.
