Description:
N,N-Dimethyl-3-phenyl-3-hydroxypropylamine is a quinoline derivative that has been shown to have antibacterial activity. It inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. N,N-Dimethyl-3-phenyl-3-hydroxypropylamine also inhibits the production of serotonin in animals. This drug may be useful for the treatment of candida glabrata infections.
