Description:
2-Methyl-1,2'-dinaphthyl ketone is a high-purity ketone that can be used as a solvent for organic reactions. It is colorless and odorless and has a boiling point of 220°C. 2-Methyl-1,2'-dinaphthyl Ketone is also used as an intermediate in the production of catalysts. The reaction tube is made from quartz and sealed with a metallic cap. This compound has been shown to react with benzene to produce fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, tetralin, and naphthalene.
