Product Information
- 2-Amino-4-Bromobenzophenone 95%
- (2-Amino-4-Bromophenyl)(Phenyl)Methanone
- 2-AMINO-4-BROMOBENZOPHENONE
2-Amino-4-bromophenyl)(phenyl)methanone is a phosphorescent and spirobifluorene derivative. It has been shown to have photophysical properties and efficiencies similar to benzodiazepinones. The triplet energies of the molecule are higher than those of many other organic molecules, which may make it useful in devices such as light emitting diodes (LEDs). The molecule is stable in the presence of halogens, making it suitable for use in triplet excitation devices. Triplet excitation will occur when optical energy is absorbed by a molecule. This leads to an electron transition from one molecular orbital to another with simultaneous emission of a photon. 2-Amino-4-bromophenyl)(phenyl)methanone has been shown to be more stable than benzodiazepinones because it does not undergo autocatalytic cleavage reactions.
