Product Information
Succinylcholine chloride is a neuromuscular blocking drug that blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the skeletal muscles by mimicking acetylcholine. It binds to the nicotinic receptors in the neuromuscular junction and prevents depolarization, which leads to paralysis. Succinylcholine has been shown to be used as an additive in electroplating baths, but it is not known whether this may lead to adverse health effects. Succinylcholine chloride also has an effect on vascularization, as it causes angiogenesis and increased permeability. The mechanism for this effect is not yet fully understood.
