Product Information
1-Amino-4-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide is a medicinal chemical that mimics the biological activity of tyrosine kinase, which is an enzyme that plays a key role in blood vessel formation. It has been shown to have antiangiogenic properties and inhibit tumor cell growth by interfering with the binding of VEGFR2 to its ligands. 1-Amino-4-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide has also been shown to inhibit endothelial cell proliferation and induce apoptosis. This chemical also inhibits the migration of endothelial cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit nuclear translocation of NRP1/VEGFR2 complex and subsequent activation of the nucleus.
