Product Information

Name:
Climbazole-d4
Description:

Climbazole-d4 is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of inorganic acids. It is a substance with strong antibacterial activity, which may be used as a preservative in pharmaceutical preparations. Climbazole-d4 has been shown to cause fetal death and cancer in laboratory animals. This chemical also has skin care properties, which are due to its ability to increase the water content of the skin and reduce dry weight when applied topically. The unsaturated alkyl group on climbazole-d4 can react with hydroxyl groups on inulin to form an ether linkage. Climbazole-d4 also reacts with other organic acids such as citric acid, malic acid, or tartaric acid to form salts called climbazoles or climbazolates.
