Product Information
- 1-Cyclohexenecarbonyl chloride
Cyclohexenyl-1-carbonyl chloride (C6Cl) is an organometallic compound that is used as a reagent in organic chemistry. C6Cl is a colourless liquid with a boiling point of around 100°C. It has anticholinergic properties and can be used to synthesize allylsilanes, which are important for the production of polymers. C6Cl has a molecular weight of 227.2 g/mol and a melting point of -19°C. The crystal structure analyses were carried out at room temperature using diffraction techniques. The molecule consists of two benzyl groups and one deuterium atom, which are attached to cyclohexene rings. C6Cl is chiral due to the presence of two different carbon atoms with four different substituents.
