Description:

3'-O-Methyl quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide-d3 is a synthetic derivative of the flavonoid quercetin. It has been shown to have anti-cancer properties in vitro and in vivo. 3'-O-Methyl quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide exhibits apoptotic activity by binding to DNA and inhibiting transcriptional regulation, which leads to cancer cell death. In vitro studies have shown that this compound is not toxic to normal skin cells, but induces apoptosis in prostate cancer cells. The efficacy of 3'-O-Methyl quercetin 3-O-β-D glucuronide for treatment of cancer has not yet been evaluated in humans.
