Product Information
2-Imino-2H-chromene-3-carbonitrile is a chemical compound that is used as a pesticide. It is an imine, which reacts with chloride to form an active methylene group. This reaction proceeds via the formation of an intermediate phosphonate. The reaction mechanism of 2-imino-2H-chromene-3-carbonitrile has been studied using electrochemical methods. The reaction time for this reaction was found to be dependent on the amount of chloride present in solution and the concentration of salicylaldehyde. The interaction between 2-imino-2H-chromene-3-carbonitrile and phenacyl (a ligand) has also been studied.
