Description:

Choline chloride-(trimethyl-d9) is a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) mobile phase additive. It is a choline derivative that has been labeled with a trimethyl-d9 (TMTD) group. The TMTD group is not chemically bound to the molecule and can be easily removed by reductive derivatization. The TMTD group provides increased detection sensitivity for separation of acyl chains and fatty acids, fluidity, and logistic regression in HPLC systems. Choline chloride-(trimethyl-d9) can also be used to separate choline from carnitine in plasma samples. It is an analytical method that can be used for high-throughput analysis of cellular or plasma samples from infants, as well as adults.
