TP-3654 is a methyltransferase inhibitor that inhibits the PIM-1 protein, which prevents the development of cancer cells. TP-3654 has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity in mouse tumor models and to inhibit the growth of leukemia cells in vitro. It is also an oral prodrug that can be converted into an active form by esterases in the gastrointestinal tract.
